Use your audience context first

Pick an IANA timezone, then compare the median outcome and sample count for each local weekday/hour. The same UTC hour means a different local hour after a daylight saving transition.

Sparse buckets are marked rather than declared winners. A single high-view post is a visible outlier, not evidence of an optimal posting hour. No invented global heatmap is used.

Make a timing test useful

Choose two feasible slots and alternate comparable topics and formats. Read outcomes after the same measurement horizon. Record promotion and other changes that could explain variation.

Illustrative example: alternate pottery glazing clips in morning and evening slots over several weeks. Keep the clip length and topic comparable, then review medians and sample sizes without claiming a causal result from a small uncontrolled sample.

Why published schedules disagree

Buffer’s reviewed 2026 analysis highlights Sunday morning in its product cohort; Sprout’s reviewed study favors midweek afternoons and calls Sunday weaker. Their account samples, measurement windows and outcomes differ. Neither is a universal schedule for your account.

These are publisher findings, not our benchmark data. Use their exact methods and limitations when reading the linked studies, then investigate your own comparable observations.
